What VanX provides
VanX is an offline-first productivity tool. It does not ship with public social feeds, content directories, or developer-hosted media.
VanX is not a social network, chat service, user-generated-content distribution service, or content publisher. It does not include a public feed or a marketplace of material from other users.
User-selected material
The content stored in VanX reflects what the user deliberately copies, types, or imports. VanX processes this content entirely locally on your Mac.
VanX includes automated local quarantine filters for detected sensitive credentials and payment card numbers.
Web access and network previews
All network features in VanX are off by default. When explicitly enabled by the user, rich link previews can fetch public webpage titles, metadata, or favicons.
Web previews execute with JavaScript disabled and do not send clipboard text to external servers.

Supervision and parental controls
VanX has no built-in age-verification or parental-control system. It does not replace macOS parental controls, household rules, or responsible device supervision.
A Mac owner or administrator should use Apple’s available device and content controls where supervision is required and should decide whether VanX is suitable for each person using that Mac.
App Store age rating declaration
Apple’s displayed age rating is authoritative for the live App Store listing. The rating reflects the live build and Apple’s questionnaire rules; it does not imply that VanX supplies or endorses age-sensitive material.
Unrestricted Web Access (for explicitly requested public HTTP/HTTPS previews).
This statement is effective 11 August 2026 and may be updated if VanX capabilities or App Store requirements change.
