What VanX provides
VanX provides private local tools for capturing, storing, searching, organizing, reviewing, and exporting material. It does not supply, curate, recommend, publish, or broadly distribute mature, medical, sexual, violent, gambling, or other age-sensitive content.
VanX is not a social network, chat service, user-generated-content distribution service, or content publisher. It does not include a public feed or a marketplace of material from other users.
Material a user chooses
A person using VanX controls the material they create, copy, import, save, or open. VanX does not pre-screen or endorse that user-selected material.
Users are responsible for ensuring that material they capture or open is lawful, appropriate for the people using their Mac, and used with the necessary rights or permission.
Why VanX declares Unrestricted Web Access
VanX can show a detailed preview for a public HTTP(S) link after a user explicitly enables the relevant network option. That preview can follow the link inside a web view. Because public websites are not limited to a closed, age-filtered catalogue, the App Store questionnaire is answered conservatively and truthfully asUnrestricted Web Access.
Link previews and Web Sources are off by default and require consent. Each bounded Research run also requires review and confirmation. This web capability does not turn VanX into a content feed, recommendation network, or distribution platform.

Parental controls and device supervision
VanX has no built-in age-verification or parental-control system. It does not replace macOS parental controls, household rules, or responsible device supervision.
A Mac owner or administrator should use Apple’s available device and content controls where supervision is required and should decide whether VanX is suitable for each person using that Mac.
The displayed App Store rating
Apple’s displayed age rating is authoritative for the live App Store listing. The rating reflects the submitted build and Apple’s questionnaire rules; it does not imply that VanX supplies or endorses age-sensitive material.
